Leviathan by JaniceDuke Leviathan by JaniceDuke
"Leviathan (Hebrew for "Twisted; coiled") was a Biblical sea monster referred to in the Old Testament (Psalm 74:13-14; Job 41; Isaiah 27:1). The word leviathan has become synonymous with any large sea monster or creature. In the novel Moby-Dick it refers to great whales, and in Modern Hebrew, it means simply "whale"."

For fun and practice. Enjoy :)

Very nice - and a very interesting design (love the mouth - so many teeth) and again, this has a great sense of scale to it.
Fanastic work as always.

Cheers! :D I was sort of thinking 'space-fish' and 'worms from Dune' :XD:

Very pleased with how it worked out.

Excellent – a piece of subtle power. I love how at first glance I saw a fish (presumably small) about to swallow a single egg floating amongst the vast masses of plankton. Only then did I notice the title of the piece and start to realise –that’s not an egg but our planet, that’s not plankton but fields of stars!

Of course, perhaps I’m wrong in thinking the leviathan is about to swallow the egg/planet. Maybe it’s her egg and she’s coiled protectively around it?
