Saturn Black by JaniceDuke Saturn Black by JaniceDuke
Now I stand
The wisdom of each moment
Carrying
A force to shape the horizon
In all directions
Emerging
An epicentre of Black

I wield the sickle of Time
I teach the darkest of mysteries
Enduring, transforming
I without end

you could probably make some good money off them if the rest of the deck was as good as this!

Interesting bit about the mill. Thanks for pointing that out. Hopefully I'll get around to Sol soon. This was supposed to be the first in the series, but I've decided to leave it as a stand alone so that I can make the series more cohesive. So there will be another 'black' at some point.

A masterpiece!
This one goes to my favourite of all other art pieces in your gallery, even past squirrels and others *sob*. Every element in this artwork just really belongs there - space, raven, sickle, tentacles of god-only-knows-whose, the daggers which form some sort of halo around her head.

I still get the lovely feeling of cthulhu mythos when looking this but at the same time it feels something else - perhaps even more chaotic in a way... can't really explain ^^;

But just the sheer amount of details and symbolic meanings in this is really amazing!

This is without a doubt really something special!:faint: I've just found a new most favourite work by neutralie!

The face is awesome! I read the slant as being most definately intentional and part of the history of the female character. Her expression hints at great painful experience, resulting in a vast fathomless power. She may be flawed on the surface, but make no mistake, she wields a perfectly tuned force that even the gods fear to challenge. The skin tones are perfect for this character who seems to radiate impending death and decay.

Is there a hint at cthulhu in the tentacle? You've cleverly drawn a few important mythological elements together into this, with Odin's raven and the cloak of the Grim Reaper.

You should be justifiably proud of this work - I know I would be!

I put a lot of thought into the symbolism, feeling and character of this piece. You've picked up on a lot of things in a way that makes me very proud to have pulled off conveying them.

Excellent - gothic and creepy with those wonderful tentacles.

My only concern would the face which seems to slant only on the one side.
